Sensei Andy Whitehead 4th Dan
Main Instructor
Experienced Karateka with over 35 years experience with ISMAA. Brings a great technical knowledge combined with a warm, encouraging teaching style that aims to bring out the best in every student. Andy believes in challenging students to gain confidence and bring out their full potential.
Sempi Clare Gray 1st Dan
Junior Class Instructor Black Belt
Specialising in teaching Ninjas and junior students, Clare has a natural gift for engaging children and young people. She aims to provide enjoyable and safe training encouraging students to appreciate discipline and respect which forms the foundations of karate.
Kyoushi Shaun Lanham 7th Dan
Chief Instructor of ISMAA
A Martial artist for over 37 years. Shaun is the founder of the Inner Strength Martial Arts Academy (ISMAA), and holds several world championship karate medals. He brings incredible experience, carries out all gradings and ensures the standard and quality of all ISMAA clubs is among the highest in the UK.
